Wind Ventures Ltd Appoints Daly International

Wind Ventures Ltd. appoints Daly International to provide a range of project management and property based professional services in connection with the development of wind farms throughout England.

Based in the UK, Wind Ventures (www.windventures.co.uk) a wholly owned subsidiary of Olive Green Energy (www.ogenergy.com) has been established to develop onshore Wind Energy projects in the UK and Europe.

Ross Glover, Director of Wind Ventures, stated: "We have an ambitious growth target in the UK and our alliance with Daly International is an excellent opportunity for us to benefit from the expertise and resources of an established UK based company, who are able to provide proactive project management and property based professional services, together with immediate access to an extensive network of potential sites suitable for development."

T Mobile & 3 Joint Venture selects Daly International for its "BT Ethernet Project"

T-Mobile and 3 UK, through their joint venture company, Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL), have signed a five-year managed network solutions agreement with BT to provide high-speed, next-generation links connecting 7,500 mobile base station sites on their consolidated 3G infrastructure.

MBNL has has selected Daly International to carry out electrical and space provisioning work on sites in readiness to accept the BT Ethernet equipment. The works are to be provided throughout the whole of the UK.

Daly International joins British Wind Energy Association (BWEA)

As a further commitment to mitigating the effects of climate change and embracing the move towards the creation of a low carbon economy in the UK, Daly International has joined the British Wind Energy Association (BWEA) as a full company member. Membership provides access to the latest in technological innovations, financing, policy, public opinion and any other aspect of the wind industry which may be topical.

The British Wind Energy Association (BWEA) is the trade and professional body for the UK wind and marine renewables industries. Formed in 1978, and with 482 corporate members, BWEA is the leading renewable energy trade association in the UK. Wind has been the world's fastest growing renewable energy source for the last seven years, and this trend is expected to continue with falling costs of wind energy and the urgent international need to tackle CO2 emissions to prevent climate change.
